The grass spiders are members of the genus Agelenopsis. They weave sheet webs that have a funnel shelter on one edge. The web is not sticky, but these spiders make up for that shortcoming by running very rapidly. They may be recognized by the arrangement of their eight eyes into three rows. My Grass spider

Just a short vid talking about (what I think is a) grass spider, its in the Agelenopsis species. I know its environment is kinda small and shabby, but its making out very well in it. I usually feed it moths. IF you like spiders, than please subscribe! :-)

I got lucky and found a "Funnel Shaped" spider web in the yard at the place I work. My buddy Rob and I thought we might catch something cool if we recorded it for a while. Luckily, the spider was willing to perform for us.
