Yes, yes...I know. And the answer to the question: "wtf?!" is the following...pure boredom. Jay, Sammy, and myself, have thought up over 100 synonyms for the word poop. Its all on the list shown in the video. I mean, when you think about it, there is an infinite number of synonyms for the word poop...some just happen to be a little off topic. So there ya go...enjoy the poopie list! And no, its not that list other people did, like the clean poopie, ghost poopie etc. I just chose this name randomly :P *btw...I had absolutely no idea what category to put this video in so I randomly chose Education...I mean, what category would be suitable for poop? You just think about that, now...*

Carl Dundas speaks here about the way in which one is able to maintain effective linguistic expression, but restrict, if necessary, the extent of one's own stock of vocabulary. This can occur not only on the basis of the fact that there are many more words in English than in other word languages, but also due to the fact that where we have a list of synonyms for any one adjective, preposition or verb in English, the number of corresponding synoynms can be drastically reduced. This video applies that theory and practice to the Spanish language.
