  The Pink Ribbon Tour

  The Guardians of the Ribbon will be going across the America in a pink fire truck hauling a 10' stainless steel ribbon. This charity was created by Las Cruces firefighter Wally Monsivaiz and Glendale firefighter Dave Graybill we are currently in need of funds to help in the purchase of the fire truck!!

American Cancer Society guidelines for the early detection of breast cancer vary depending on a woman's age and include mammography and clinical breast examination. Numerous randomized trials and population-based screening evaluations have clearly shown that early detection of breast cancer through mammography greatly improves treatment options, the chances for successful treatment, and survival.103-105 Mammography is the single most effective method of early detection, since it can identify cancer several years before physical symptoms develop. Treatment is more successful when cancer is discovered early. Mammography is a low-dose x-ray procedure that allows visualization of the internal structure of the breast. Mammography is highly accurate, but like most medical tests, it is not perfect.
